Ohm Suansilphong, Chef and Restaurant owner of Fish Cheeks in NYC, is highlighting traditional Thai food in a family-style environment inspired by his family roots and upbringing. Ohm’s love for cooking came from learning and watching in the kitchen at his father’s restaurant throughout his childhood. From this love, Ohm went on to study at the Mandarin Oriental Culinary school, and later became a part of an award-winning team at Nahm in Bangkok and Long Grain in Australia. Ohm now owns his own restaurant and sister concept Chick Isan. Ohm continues to earn praise for his brilliant Thai Seafood dishes in celebration of his upbringing and roots.
