Ariana de Leña’s Kamayan Farm, located outside of Seattle, Washington, brings together stories of land, food, and culture, through it’s owner Ariana de Leña, specializing in Asian heritage crops and dried flowers. The farm’s name itself, Kamayan, means ‘with hands’ and describes a Filipino communal-style meal. In addition to the farm, Ariana also works with Second Generation Seed, which is a collective of Asian growers reclaiming the narrative around Asian crops, culture, and foodways.
