Today, we’re spotlighting Miguel Angel Arteaga Navas, originally from El Salvador and now serving as the Executive Chef at the National Cathedral School! His favorite dish is his mother’s famous creamed chicken, a family staple they all swear no one can top. He’s proud to say his mom is ‘the best chef in the world!’ One of Miguel’s fondest childhood memories was gathering together with his entire family for a picnic on warm Sunday afternoons. It was there, sitting on the grass, that they all took a moment to be still and cherish the company. During his interview, he shared how much he values MG for its diversity and the genuine support it offers to Latinos. “The way MG values you as a person truly makes you feel at home.”

Su plato favorito es el famoso pollo a la crema de su madre, un clásico familiar que todos juran que nadie puede superar. Se enorgullece de decir que su madre es “¡la mejor chef del mundo!”. Uno de los recuerdos más preciados de la infancia de Miguel era reunirse con toda su familia para un picnic en las cálidas tardes de domingo. Era allí, sentados en el césped, donde todos se tomaban un momento para estar en silencio y apreciar la empresa. Durante su entrevista, compartió cuánto valora a MG por su diversidad y el apoyo genuino que ofrece a los latinos. “La forma en que MG te valora como persona realmente te hace sentir como en casa”.
